Pesma "Reke vam ne damo" rezultat je saradnje benda Two-Stroke Engine sa Darkom Micićem, rok muzičarem, piscem, aktivistom... iz Knjaževca.

Za razliku od ostalih pesama, koje su u našem slučaju, obično plod trenutne inspiracije i momenta, pesma "Reke vam ne damo" je namenski nastala, iz potrebe da se ukaže na problem izgradnje mini hidroelektrana na planinskim vodotokovima.

I tiče se svih nas! Svuda!

Na Staroj planini, već duže vreme, traje pobuna meštana protiv izgradnje mini hidroelektrana. Iz želje da na neki način doprinesemo toj borbi i pomognemo slabijima protiv daleko jačeg protivnika, mi smo to uradili onako kako najbolje znamo: muzikom!

The song "Reke vam ne damo" is the result of the collaboration of the band Two-Stroke Engine with Darko Micic, a rock musician, writer, activist ... from Knjazevac.

Unlike other songs, which in our case are usually the fruit of current inspiration and are created in the moment, the song "Reke vam ne damo" was purposely created, out of the need to point out the problem of building mini hydroelectric power plants on mountain watercourses.

And it concerns all of us! Everywhere!

On Stara Planina, for a long time now, the locals have been rebelling against the construction of mini hydroelectric power plants. Out of a desire to contribute to that fight in some way and help the weaker ones against a far stronger opponent, we did it the way we know best: with music!
